How to Improve Calibration Efficiency in a Lab by up to Four Times through use of a Connection Manifold

Printer Friendly VersionEmail A FriendAdd This
From aerospace and military branches to pharmaceutical manufacturers and bio pharmaceuticals, devices such as transmitters, transducers and pressure gauges must be regularly calibrated to ensure accurate performance. This calibration process is often outsourced to a lab where metrologists make connections between the test equipment and devices and then perform the calibrations. To ensure accurate results, leak-tight connections must be made. However, this process can prove both difficult and time-consuming, as many different sized devices must be connected by means of thread sealant, wrenches and significant torque.
