Cold Jet announces the launch of the SDI Select 60 – a revolutionary dry ice cleaning system that offers maximum flexibility.  The new system accommodates dry ice of any form (pellets, nuggets, block and leftover scrap), offers the ability to shave ice or direct feed pellets for unlimited control, accommodates all Cold Jet standard Aero accessories and delivers proven cleaning effectiveness on the full spectrum of cleaning applications.  “We used the SDI Select 60 to clean a hydroelectric generator built in 1920 that had never been rewound,” said Randell Heath, Owner of Coldsweep, Inc.  

“The unit was in very poor shape and the main concern was to provide a gentle cleaning action that would not damage the windings that were in poor condition to start with.  It performed wonderfully to clean the delicate windings at pressures that varied between 30 and 50 psi.  We also used the SDI Select 60 to clean the cast iron portions of the generator housing at higher pressures up to 125 psi.”  The SDI Select 60 offers the value of delicate cleaning and high-level aggression all in one frame.  With the ability to shave with any dry ice media – from standard block, 3mm pellets, nuggets, slices and even leftover scrap ice; or direct feed standard pellets – the SDI Select 60 offers unrivaled cleaning performance and eliminates worries about dry ice availability.
