Patlite introduces two FM-certified LED light towers for use in Class I, Zone 1, Exd IIC T6 explosive application environments. The five-light EDWM-style model is based on the company’s popular WME-A tower, and is available for AC/DC24V or AC90-250V operation. The three-light EDLM-style model is based on the company’s LME tower, and is available for AC/DC24V or AC120V operation. “These light towers can help improve safety and productivity by providing reliable at-a-glance visual status indication in challenging explosive environments,” says Paul Mizuki, Marketing Manager. “In addition to being FM tested and certified and featuring Class I, Zone 1, AEx d IIC T6 explosion protection ratings, these towers are IP-66 rated making them an ideal solution in wet or dirty locations.” 

The color modules are highly resistant to vibration to greatly reduce maintenance costs, and use bright LED technology that last over 40,000 hours of continuos use.  Each LED module can be wired through an easily accessible terminal block for steady or flashing mode, and two angle brackets facilitate top and wall-mount orientations, to satisfy the unique needs of each application. Each also features a ¾“ NPT wire exit port, making it easy for a ¾” conduit pipe to be connected to the unit.
