Chicago Pneumatic has introduced the new CP82 series, one of the most robust and comfortable composite impact wrench range in its class. With a completely renewed range of 9 models, covering from 3/8” up to 3/4” square drives with ring, pin, dual as well as quick change socket retainers, the new CP82 series is an ideal versatile product range for challenging industrial maintenance applications. The CP82 series has been redesigned to resist harsh environments, and dust exposure. Delivering from 59 to 1217ft-lbs. of torque [80-1650Nm], it matches virtually any maintenance operation needs in the oil & gas, petrochemical or mining sectors.
The rugged aluminum alloy clutch housing, reinforced back plate, and protective cover enhance tool durability. The powerful twin hammer clutch mechanism and hard chromium liner add to the superior reliability. Safety and comfort of use are also key drivers of the Chicago Pneumatic product development process. As a result, the new CP82 series offers enhanced ergonomic features compared to equivalent products. These features include the quietest noise level [89dB(A)], a low vibration level [5.8m/s² according to ISO28927-2], and a lightweight composite housing. Superior tool comfort is further aided with user-friendly features that include a suspension bail, a full-teasing trigger, rubber injected grip, 360° swivel air inlet, and a 3-position power regulator.
