Linear Guide Rail System

A new linear guide rail system from Sterling Instrument features heavy-duty, low wear, low friction, quiet, maintenance- free operation, without the need for lubrication. The sliding element is a specially formulated polymer material best suited for hard anodized aluminum rails. The combination of the two yields low abrasion, which reduces alignment problems and assembly time.
The carriage and rail combination is a compact, space-saving design with easy installation. The low, wide profile withstands high torque.
They are identified as the S99GWRM40 and S99GWRM80 series and are stocked in lengths of 1000, 2000 and 3000 mm. Both the size 40 and size 80 series rails are made of hard anodized aluminum. The carriage assembly for both series consists of an aluminum plate, die cast zinc blocks, and J® Polymer bearings. The overall height of both series is 24 mm.
