PFERD INC. has developed a line of innovative new burs for working on stainless steel (INOX). Featuring extremely high stock removal with a high-grade surface finish, INOX Cut Burs also guarantee comfortable, ergonomic performance with reduced vibration and noise. The special tooth geometry, similar to that found in burs for aluminum and non-ferrous metals, quickly removes large chips from all austenitic and rust- and acid-resistant steels, and will not cause heat discoloration (bluing).
Available in cylindrical, ball and flame shapes, PFERD INOX Cut Burs feature 3/8" and ∏" head diameters, all with π" shank. Recommended operating speeds are from 12,000 to 32,000 RPM depending on bur size and shape.
