Heyco Products Inc. has announced introduction of their new Heyco®-Tite Straight Thru and Pigtail design Snap-In-2® Liquid Tight Cordgrips. The Straight-Thru design fits panels from .062” (1,6 mm) to .125” (3,2 mm) thick and handles flexible cord diameters ranging from .065” (1,7 mm) to 1.000” (25,4 mm) and the Pigtail design fits panels from .062” (1,6 mm) to .125” (3,2 mm) thick and cord diameters ranging from .065” (1,7 mm) to .709” (18,0 mm).  Both provide the ultimate in liquid tight strain relief protection. 

Easily installed with no tools or locknuts required, the Snap-In-2® Cordgrip’s unique fingers securely snap into a range of panel thicknesses.  The Pigtail’s integral nylon spring eases the cable into a lazy bend to prevent kinking and assure long cable and product life.  A sealing flange on both designs prevents sealing washer displacement due to water velocity to ensure a liquid tight IP 65 and IP 67 seal.  This eliminates the need for a locknut or threaded hole to achieve a liquid tight seal at the panel - perfect for low clearance installation where locking nut access is limited. 

Both Heyco®-Tite Snap-In-2® Cordgrips also feature a ratchet design sealing nut assembly to provide superior anti-vibration and ensure a firm grip on the cable.  Rotation is also prevented when the Cordgrip is used in “Double D” mounting holes. Constructed of nylon 6/6 with Buna N or TPE sealing gland, the Cordgrips are recognized under the Components Program of Underwriters Laboratories File E51579, Certified by Canadian Standard Association File 93876C, have a 94V-2 flammability rating, and operating temperature range of -22°F (-30°C) to 212°F (100°C).
