GearWrench announces the launch of the 120XP Ratchet. The new hand tool is the only ratchet that features 120 positions for every full rotation, allowing it to turn fasteners with a swing arc of as little as three degrees.  The 120XP ratchet exceeds the ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) strength requirements and delivers the strength and durability that have become synonymous with all GearWrench tools. It is designed for use within the toughest industrial environments.   The 120XP ratchet has a 60-tooth gear that alternately engages its Double-Stacked Pawl Technology to produce the 120 positions and three-degree swing arc. The enclosed head design resists dirt infiltration. “The GearWrench brand is well known for delivering tools that offer speed, strength and access, and deliver extreme productivity,” said Jim Stewart, product manager for GearWrench. “The 120XP ratchets take those brand attributes to a whole new level and help users complete jobs faster.”The ratchet’s teardrop-shaped head has a low profile and flush mounted on/off switch, which also improves access in tight spaces. The 120XP ratchet’s long handle is ergonomically designed to provide comfort and good grip for users. It has a full polish chrome finish and comes in three drive sizes: 1/4”, 3/8” and 1/2”. The 120XP ratchets are sold separately and come in select SAE/ metric standard/deep socket sets.
