CIT Relay & Switch now offers the fused A18 Series automotive relay. With switching capacity up to 40A, this sealed relay ships standard with a 30A fuse and accepts industry standard size automotive bladed fuses. The robust A18 has an LED indicator and metal mounting tab with a socket available. Specifications: Contact arrangement is 1A SPST N.O. and 1C SPDT with contact rating of 40A@ 14VDC N.O. and 30A@14VDC N.C. Contact resistance is less than 50 milliohms; contact material is AgSnO2. 

Tested electrical life of the A18 Series is 100k cycles with mechanical life of 10M cycles. The dielectric strength is 1500Vrms minimum coil to contact and 1500Vrms minimum contact to contact. Insulation resistance is 100MΩ minimum at 500VDC. Shock resistance is 98m/s2 for 11 ms and vibration resistance is 1.5mm double amplitude 10~40Hz. Operating and storage temperature is -40°C to 85°C. Solderability is 260°C for 5s. Weight is 41g. The A18 Series relay has been ideal for use in buses, tractors, off-road recreational vehicles among other heavy duty automotive uses.
