The NEW K-Tron P-Series Venturi Loader is designed specifically for conveying powders in sanitary food, pharmaceutical and chemical applications. It can be used for loading hoppers as well as loss-in-weight feeder refill applications and meets the rigid 3A Dairy sanitary requirements. The highly efficient and compact venturi power unit utilizes compressed air to create its vacuum convey source. This eliminates the need and expense for a separate blower package, making it a more economical solution for applications requiring lower rate conveying over shorter distances. The unit also includes a large area automatic reverse jet filter for efficient powder conveying. The loader body is made of DIN 1.4404 (AISI 316L) stainless steel, with internal and external electropolished surface passivation. 

The modular construction and sanitary design, without pockets or dead spaces, allow for easy disassembly and cleaning as well as simple expansion with extension modules. All convey line connections have tri-clover quick release fittings to ensure quick disconnection and include special FDA approved seals and gaskets throughout. The P-Series Venturi loader meets ATEX 2GD/1D and NEC Class 1, Div 2, Group C&D classifications.   The P-Series Venturi Loader is available in two outlet configurations: powered flap or active driven butterfly valve discharge with convey rates up to 300 kg/hr (660 lb/hr) and a minimum holding capacity of 9.5 dm³ (0.34 ft³) which increases with the optional extension modules. The unit comes standard with a 115/230 VAC, 15 amp controller.
