Chicago Pneumatic has introduced 18 models in its new CP3000 series of straight industrial die grinders and 18 models in its new CP3030 series of angle industrial die grinders and sanders. Ranging in power from .4hp (300watts) to .7hp (500watts) and speeds from 15,000 rpm to 30,000 rpm. Designed for use with 1/4” (6mm) carbide burrs and mounted points, these grinders are suitable for a wide range of light metal working operations, including contouring, de-burring, light chamfering as well as sanding with 3” (76mm) sanding pads, in industries as diverse as energy, metal transformation and manufacturing.
Featuring a compact composite body, industrial grade durability and a low cost of maintenance, all models in the CP3000 and CP3030 series are ergonomically designed to offer very low vibration (close to or below 2.5ms), low weight (starting as low as .88 lb / .4kg), low noise and a streamlined safety trigger that allows superior operation in tight spaces. “Competitive pricing and component interchangeability within CP3000 and CP3030 models add to the already substantial value, economy and flexibility of Chicago Pneumatic industrial die grinders,” said Luis Clement, Vice President Chicago Pneumatic Tools.
The CP3000 Series: To ensure the best match of grinding power and speed to die hardness and abrasion properties, gearless CP3000 series straight die grinders are available in .4hp (300watts), .5hp (400watts) and .7hp (500watts) models in speed increments of 15k, 18k, 20k, 24k, 25k and 30k rpm. In addition, each power and speed pairing is available in either rear or front exhaust versions.
The CP3030 Series: CP3030 angled die grinders employ a 97 degree angle for improved capability to work in corners, and high operator comfort. The series is available in 18 models to meet the particular needs of a wide range of applications. To ensure the best match of grinding power and speed to die hardness and abrasion properties, gearless CP3030 series grinders are available in .4hp (300watts), .5hp (400watts) and .7hp (500watts) models in speed increments of 18k, 20k, 24k, 25k and 30k rpm for grinders, and 15k, 20k and 25k for sanders.
