Camfil Farr, world leader in air filtration and clean air solutions, has introduced a time-saving, universal filter frame for built-up bank HVAC systems. The FastFrame™ air filter holding frame uses exclusive new Camfil Farr compression tab technology.  This innovation allows rapid filter change-out without the hassle of clips and fasteners, or the very common problem of finger cuts caused by the sharp edges on conventional framing systems.  FastFrame is constructed of 16-gauge all-welded galvanized steel for long-term corrosion protection.  Its unique design allows for convenient, simple filter replacement while preserving the integrity of the filter seal.  A ¾” sealing flange with premium replaceable gasket prevents air bypass between the frame and the filter header. The gasket’s overlapping seal guards against air bypass at the frame’s corners.  Final filter and prefilter compression tabs facilitate a clear snap-in-place seal for the final filter and a secure hold for the prefilter. The compression tabs are easily replaceable should the air quality requirements of the application change. 

Centering dimples, an integral part of the frame, help with quick alignment of the final or prefilter. Pre-drilled frame-to-frame installation holes allow filter banks up to six filters high by any number of filters wide to be built-up quickly and securely. FastFrame accommodates a wide variety of ASHRAE grade final filters, prefilters, and combinations. It is available in sizes to meet the airflow sizing requirements of every application, including 24” X 24”, 12” X 24”, 20” X 24” and 20” X 20”. FastFrame supports HVAC grade air filtration for commercial and industrial buildings, educational facilities, food processing facilities, and other applications requiring high quality indoor air.  Most importantly, FastFrame is compatible with all 5-Star air filters.  Filters that have earned 5-Star designation have been shown to reduce HVAC-related energy use and waste disposal, and meet other environmental criteria.
