Newport Corporation has developed a new series of pneumatic vibration isolators for platform loads up to 3200 lbs. The I-800P Series isolators feature unmatched performance based on Newport’s Stabilizer™ hybrid-chamber design to deliver the best vertical and horizontal isolation available in this size range.  The patented self-centering design makes the I-800P isolators easy to integrate into OEM machinery and other process equipment. Newport’s wide selection of I-800P Series isolators offers highly accurate releveling and repositioning.  A variety of valves and damping mechanisms may also be selected to optimize the vibration isolation characteristics and further tune the system to meet specific machine requirements. 

The isolators can be fitted onto 8-inch-square leg weldments or can be manufactured on stand-alone legs.  Custom damping designs can be tuned for specific isolation and moving-load requirements.  The I-800P Series isolators offer the same advanced hybrid technology that was designed for research-grade S-2000 Stabilizer isolators, making the new product series the ideal choice for high-resolution applications. The standard vertical releveling capability on the I-800 Series is ±0.010 in. (±0.25 mm). However, custom designs with releveling accuracy of 0.002 in. (0.05 mm) are available through Newport’s Custom Products Group. The horizontal travel is 0.12 in. (3 mm) with a repositioning accuracy of 0.003 in. (0.08 mm).
