Dialight announces the debut of the industry’s first-ever 100+ lumens per watt (lm/W) Class I Div 2 certified LED lighting fixture. The new SafeSite® LED High Bay delivers up to 17,500 lumens at just 172W for the ultimate in safe, efficient illumination in hazardous locations. Such hazardous location applications include: oil, gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, power generation, wastewater, sewage treatment facilities and other sites requiring UL-844 standards.

The new Dialight SafeSite High Bay is the most recent addition to the company’s growing line of ultra-high efficiency 100 lm/W products. The company unveiled its 100 lm/W non-classified DuroSite® LED High Bay in February.

“Our High Bay fixtures are some of the most widely installed LED lighting products in the industrial market. With more than 75,000 sold in just the last two and a half years, it is quickly becoming the gold standard for industrial and hazardous location LED illumination,” said Roy Burton, Dialight’s Group Chief Executive. “This new Class I Div 2 product is a major breakthrough, achieving superior energy efficiency with over 100 lumens per watt and long-life performance that is unmatched in the industry.”

Designed to significantly reduce total cost of ownership as a replacement for up to 400W conventional HID lighting fixtures, all of Dialight’s SafeSite High Bay fixtures feature a universal voltage range of 100-277VAC, 50/60Hz to 347-480VAC 50/60Hz, a T5 temperature rating and a corrosion-resistant finish. Their signature low-profile, lightweight design supports a variety of mounting options that enables quick and easy retrofits from existing lighting, and their superior light quality and extended performance life improve safety while dramatically reducing maintenance costs associated with changing bulbs in hazardous conditions.  Every SafeSite fixture is backed by Dialight’s five-year full-performance warranty.
