The MPM-04E series, available now from MicroPower Direct, is a family of low cost, single and dual output 4W AC/DC power supplies. These compact modules are specifically designed to meet the "Green Power" requirements of the ErP directive while providing the small size, robust performance and economy required by many board level power applications. 

As part of our “Cost Cutter” product lines, they are offered at very low cost. Ten standard models operate from a universal input of 85 to 264 VAC, providing tightly regulated outputs of 3.3, 5, 9, 12, 14, 15, 24, +5/+3.3, +12/+5, ±12 or ±15 VDC. Standard features include filtering to EN55022 Class B, I/O isolation of 3k VAC, and tight line/load regulation. All models are protected for over load, over voltage, and short circuit faults. The MTBF (per MIL HDBK 217F) of the MPM-04E series is greater than 330 khours.  The MPM-04E has a Class II input (IEC61140). This means it can be used without an earth ground connection. All models are approved to EN 60950 and are compliant to the Energy Star specification & ErP directive 2009/125/EC.  

The series is certified to CE and is RoHS compliant. The MPM-04E series is packaged in a miniature PCB mount package. Each model is specified for operation over the wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +60°C (ambient). The MPM-04E series is an ideal solution for a wide variety of board level applications in industrial & commercial equipment applications requiring high performance, miniature size and low cost. With its Class II input, the MPM-04E series is a good choice for remote or portable equipment where a reliable ground is often not available.
