Heyco Products, Inc. has announced availability of their new Heyco®-Tite Hybrid Liquid Tight Cordgrips. Designed to provide the durability of a nickel-plated brass enclosure with drastically lower installed cost and more secure wire gripping with nylon fingers, Heyco Hybrid Cordgrips make it possible to insert different diameters of cable in the same gland easily with a good seal.  

The moveable, segmented fingers provide large clamping and sealing areas and, when tightened using the Cordgrip’s compression nut, compress around the gland and wire to provide a torsion-proof seal. The Hybrid Cordgrip’s nickel-plated brass construction provides excellent corrosion resistance and durability, and the molded Thermoplastic Polymer Elastomer (TPE) gland offers superior protection of flexible cables.  The Cordgrips are available in multiple sizes for flexible cord diameters ranging from .04” (1.0 mm) to 2.17” (55,0 mm) and designed for use in clearance or threaded holes. The Metric Hybrid Liquid Tight Cordgrips (cRUus) are recognized under the Component Program of Underwriters’ Laboratories File E51579 to both Canadian and US requirements and are VDE approved.  

Both PG and Metric Hybrid Cordgrips are  IP 68 rated, and have a temperature rating of -40°F (-40°C) to 212°F (100°C). FREE samples available.
