The Series 185 Smart Positioner takes a 4 to 20 mA input signal to accurately control the valve stroke of linear valves. The Series 285 Smart Positioner also takes a 4 to 20 mA input signal to accurately control the valve stroke of rotary valves. Observations of the positioners condition are made easy with a standard LCD display. 

To help reduce operating costs, air consumption levels are near zero, without reducing the performance of the Smart Positioners. To ensure reliability, both the Series 185 & 285’s construction consists of a durable aluminum or stainless steel. For added convenience, the auto calibration function ensures high accuracy of the unit. With HART® communication protocol as standard, both the Series 185 & 285 Smart Positioners factory settings can be configured as needed.
