Label Maker
Supplier: Brady Worldwide Inc
Brady has introduced its newest stand alone portable label printer: the BMP®51 Label Maker. This printer features a large backlit display screen, easy-to-use label design applications, a QWERTY keyboard and connectivity options for wireless printing.
New BMP51 Label Maker combines portable convenience with versatile material options
“The BMP51 Label Maker is the perfect printer for customers who need to make labels on the go,” said Annie Ropella, product specialist for Brady’s portable printers. “It’s packed with features that help customers save time and make their labels faster and easier.”
According to Ropella, the BMP51 Label Maker features material recognition and automatic label formatting, which eliminates the need to calibrate the printer at start up. Other time-saving features include automatic font sizing, high speed print (one inch per second), and USB PC connectivity for advanced label design with Brady’s LabelMark™ Software. Customers can choose from three different power supply options: AA batteries, AC power supply, or a rechargeable lithium-ion battery.
Another exciting feature is the printer’s easy-to-load cartridges: they are top-loading cartridges and contain both the label material and ribbon. The cover also protects the print head from dust and debris, prolonging the life of the product. Overall, this innovative design expedites the process for installing or removing supplies, and ensures that customers always have the correct ribbon for their selected label material.
The BMP51 Label Maker also offers a variety of material options: it has over 190 different label cartridges to choose from, and prints on label materials up to 1.5 inches wide. Its versatile material offering can accommodate the labeling needs of a variety of industries, including voice and data communications, electrical, facility and safety, product and panel manufacturing, and laboratory.
Bluetooth technology and optional Wi-Fi card allow for wireless printing capabilities
Similar to Brady’s BMP®53 Label Maker, the other label maker in its series, the BMP51 Label Maker features a built-in Brady Network Card with Bluetooth® technology, as well as an optional Wi-Fi card. These connectivity options, combined with Brady’s new Mobile Apps, give customers the ability to design and print labels wirelessly using their Android smart phones.
