Optrex America has introduced three Super High Bright TFT LCDs, including a new 19” diagonal panel, with 1500 nits (cd/m2) brightness, low power consumption, wide operating temperature ranges, and white LED backlights with 100K hour lifetimes.  These displays are ideal for use in outdoor environments, including direct sunlight and other high-ambient-light environments, such as a brightly lit factory floor, where the display has to be readable at all times in any environment over a wide temperature range.  The new TFT-LCDs complement Optrex’s industry-leading line of Low Power Consumption and Super High Bright panels that are available in a wide range of sizes from 8.4” to 19.0” diagonal.

The new 19” diagonal Super High Bright TFT LCD (P/N T-55699D190J-LW-A-AAN) features 1280 x 1024 resolution, 1500 cd/m2 brightness, 33.2W power consumption, a contrast ratio of 800:1, and wide viewing angles of -80°~80°, horizontal and vertical. It also features a wide operating temperature range of -20° to 70° C, a white LED backlight with 100K hour lifetime, and includes a standard LVDS interface.

The 12.1” diagonal Super High Bright TFT LCD (P/N T-55592D121J-LW-A-ABN) features 1280 x 800 resolution, 1500 cd/m2 brightness, low power consumption of 13.1W, a wide operating temperature range of -30 to 80° C, and a 100K-hour white LED backlight. It has a 700:1 contrast ratio, with wide viewing angles of -80°~80°, horizontal and -60°~80° vertical.  LVDS interface is standard.

The 9.0” diagonal Super High Bright TFT LCD (P/N T-55562D090J-LW-A-ACN) features 800 x 480 pixel resolution, 1500 cd/m2 brightness, and low power consumption of 6.4W, along with a wide operating temperature range of -30 to 80° C and a 100K-hour white LED backlight.  It has an 800:1 contrast ratio, with wide viewing angles of -80°~80° horizontal and -60° to 80° vertical, with a standard LVDS interface
