The new LF Fiber Laser Welding Systems are specially designed for fine micro welding and handles focused spot sizes down to 10 microns. It can be operated in either pulsed or continuous wave mode, and offers all the features necessary for control of the weld, including pulse shaping and pulse to pulse stability. The control interface can be integrated into the laser or provided separately for workstation integration. The LF laser can be integrated to any motion platform, including both stage and gantry systems, and scan heads. With precise control of pulse width and peak power provides it complements a wide range of pulsed Nd:YAG lasers.

The LF laser features an internal air to water cooling mechanism, which ensures excellent power and pulse to pulse stability, irrespective of the ambient air temperature.
