C&M Corporation has announced the release of ToughFlex™, a new Industrial Ethernet Cable. Part of C&M's Industrial Grade Engineered (IGE) bulk and assembly products platform, ToughFlex™ is designed for applications in factory automation, robotics, motion control and similar demanding industrial segments. Manufactured with 26 AWG conductors, ToughFlex™ offers a smaller size as compared to traditional Category cables, improved flexibility and a smaller bend radius while maximizing the ease of installation. The ruggedized construction, featuring an inner TPE belt and an overall polyurethane jacket, provides improved crush and chemical resistance. ToughFlex™ is manufactured with a 90% braid shield to resist interference from environmental noise and is compliant with Cat 5e electrical performance specifications to a distance of 65 meters (213 feet). C&M offers ToughFlex™ as bulk cable or cable assemblies.
