Kevlar® Fabric
CS Hyde Company announces a new product line of Kevlar® 8 oz. woven fabric. Kevlar® is 60” wide and sold by the lineal foot. Kevlar® is high heat resistant, cut resistant and very strong. It is difficult to ignite, does not propagate flame and decomposes at 900ºF.
Typical uses: Protective sleeves, gloves, aprons, welding blankets, heat shields/ heat barriers, hot metal sheet and glass handlers. Kevlar® Thread is also available.
