It has serrated jaws to enhance the grip force and an axial locator with integral/air-detect function to ensure positive loading of the customer’s part. The axial locator also has a tertiary datum locator to allow the part to be twisted into position upon loading.Northfield Precision designs and manufactures the world’s most accurate air chucks for any lathe, boring machine, grinder orVMC. Models include through-hole, high-speed and quick-change. Available in SAE or metric, in sizes from 3” (76mm) to18” (457mm). Accuracies of 0.001” to 0.00001” (0.254m) guaranteed. Custom workholding chucks and jaws are availableand FREE engineering assistance is offered.
