Schmersal is pleased to announce the release of their IP69K rated safety light curtains and grids. This latest release from Schmersal meets all the North American approvals including cUL as well as European norms EN/IEC 61496-1 and EN/IEC 61496-2 for optical devices.
The SLC420 family has been designed to the most stringent safety rating,Type 4, while also meeting IP69K for high pressure, 1450 psi, and high temperature 175ºF, wash down applications. The IP69K rating is emerging as the protection rating of choice for many food and beverage, pharmaceutical and outdoor applications.
This series is offered in several different resolutions ranging from finger protection to body protection. The SLC420 series is available in protected heights from 6” to 6’and is a “two box” system therefore does not require a separate control box for operation.
