New Pig Corporation has introduced PIG Flammable Safety Cabinets with fully MIG-welded 14- and 18- gauge steel construction and superior door faces designed to survive decades of industrial use. Impact-resistant, the PIG Safety Cabinet’s 14-gauge steel door faces are 56% thicker than other cabinets. A three-point zinc latch ensures fail-safe, non-sparking door closure, and the recessed handle won’t catch on passing traffic. 

True double-wall construction with 1.5” of insulating air space provides excellent fire protection while full-width, welded shelf hangers offer maximum support and increase sidewall thickness. Available in a variety of sizes and sump capacities, PIG Safety Cabinets meet NFPA and OSHA specifications, and most are FM Approved for the storage of flammables and meet UFC requirements.  A 2” leakproof sump within the Cabinet contains leaks, drips and spills.  Flame arrestor vents help prevent flashback ignition while a grounding connection inhibits static buildup. Built to last a lifetime, PIG Flammable Safety Cabinets feature 4” bullet hinges with self-lubricating, fully enclosed brass pins to prevent premature hinge failure.  In addition, the hybrid powdercoat finish resists chemicals and corrosion.
