Hannay Reels’ SS1500 Series stainless steel hose reel is specifically engineered to offer protection against contamination and corrosion.  It offers numerous uses in industrial, chemical & food processing, marine, and off-shore settings or any harsh or caustic environment.  Typical applications include pressure washing, steam cleaning, sanitizing, and pest control. The SS1500 is rust resistant and paint-free to prevent corrosion from chipping, and is constructed of fine grade 304 stainless steel frames, discs, and drums.  It can handle single hose from 1/4" to 5/8" ID, operates at pressures up to 3000 psi, and features a direct crank manual rewind that is permanently attached to the reel axle.

New RM Remote Control Reel Series

Hannay Reels offers a new RM remote control heavy-duty 12V DC 1/3 HP Electric reel series to handle single 3/8” through ½” I.D. hose.  The reels included in this series range from basic to full-function.  Available in silver or black, RM Reel Series takes power-out off the reel, leaves power-in on the remote, and leaves full-speed control functionality on the base unit.  Full molded chain guards on these units come standard. The RM reels feature variable speed control, which allows the user to select their optimal unwind/rewind speed, while the bi-directional remote control has over a 2,000 ft. range. The robust remote control comes with a belt clip and is weather and impact resistant.

SWCR Cable Reel Improves Efficiency of Arc Welding Operations

The Hannay SWCR arc welding reel is designed to handle single conductor electrode cable or grounding lead.  Current passes through a 400 amp rated rotary electrical device for efficient use with any cable length unwound. The SWCR has a heavy-duty spring motor, allowing for self-contained rewind.  A non sparking ratchet assembly locks the reel when the desired amount of cable has been payed out while a declutching arbor is provided to prevent damage from reverse winding.

6000 Series Offers a Variety of Features

The Hannay 6000 series reels are designed for a variety of power rewind options and are versatile and adaptable to fit many applications.  Its strong, heavy-duty construction allows for efficient handling of longer lengths of hose. The 6000 series features either a manual gear-driven crank rewind or chain and sprocket drive powered by an electric, hydraulic or compressed air motor.  The standard inlet is a 90° ball bearing swivel joint and 1-inch female NPT threads, with a 1-inch female NPT standard outlet.  Crank rewind reels are supplied with pinion brake and power rewind reels with a comet brake.  It operates at pressures to 1000 psi (69 bar), and can manage product temperatures from –80°F to +185°F (-62°C to +85°C).

Hannay Reels offers a new AG series reel with a spring-retractable reel, specifically designed for gaining control over the rewind speed of a spring-powered reel. The AG series reel controls the rewind speed of a spring-powered reel by linking the power spring to an air restrictor, resulting in a smooth speed every time. The AG series reel is highly scalable, allowing it to be used on the most powerful spring reels.  Because it uses air flow, the reel can be used in low-temperature conditions where hydraulic fluids are prone to failure. Also, the AG series reel is fully adjustable so the user can change the direction of the air restrictor to achieve the optimal rewind speed.

Hose Reel Designed for Twin Gas Welding Hose

Hannay N400 Series gas welding reels are specifically designed to improve the efficiency and safety of welding operations. The reel handles 1/4" or 3/8" oxygen/gas dual hose in lengths of up to 100 feet, and features two swivel joint inlets and two outlet risers to handle twin gas welding hose. The narrow frame design of the N400 makes it ideal for environments with limited space. The N400 operates at pressures to 300 psi (21 bar) and at working temperatures from -40°F to +200°F (-40°C to +93°C). Standard inlets are 90° ball bearing swivel joints with 1/2” female NPT threads; standard outlets are male 9/16" – 18 threads. The reel also offers a heavy-duty spring motor, which provides self-contained rewind power.

Hannay TWCR dual arc welding reel is designed to handle and protect both grounding and arc welding leads on the same reel unit.  The reel features two spools to hold separate lengths of welding cable.
