Air-to-Air Booster

Bimba’s Air-to-Air Booster doubles supplied air pressure up to 125 psi input pressure. Small and self-contained, the 2:1 ratio Air-to-Air Booster can amplify inadequate air pressure using only integral valve components. This unit is typically plumbed to a reservoir tank and begins reciprocating upon supply pressure input. It builds to maximum outlet and stalls. It then automatically restarts upon pressure drop.

Rodless Band Cylinder

A mechanical piston/yoke connection presents a unique sealing challenge. With its specially engineered sealing strip, the Bimba Ultran® Band rises to this challenge, out-sealing the competition by up to 75%. Simply put, it’s the most efficient rodless band cylinder money can buy.

Rate Control Cylinder

A manufacturer of commercial food preparation equipment looked to Bimba to replace a failing, commercially available dampening mechanism in a fast-food grill closure. Through in-depth research, Bimba uncovered the real problem — premature spring fatigue. The Bimba solution was an adjustable, food-grade, oil-filled rate control cylinder featuring a needle flash valve arrangement inside a closed loop circuit. This provided cost savings through reduced maintenance expenses and less downtime.

Air-Operated Fluid Valve

A customer needed a longer-lasting solution for dispensing paint. Bimba provided an all stainless steel, non-corrosive air operated valve to deliver better sealing in a more compact package.

Isonic Valves from Mead Fluid Dynamics — A Bimba Company

Isonic MOD 3+ Valves are designed to reduce downtime, eliminating all end plates, screws, o-rings and gaskets customarily found in manifold systems. With Isonic MOD, replacing an individual valve can be accomplished in seconds, simultaneously making an electrical and pneumatic connection, without the aid of any tools. The heart of the Isonic concept is its patented “half-shell” design—composed of two mirror image halves, Isonic allows its flow channels and internal component compartments to be designed directly into these molded body sections.
