Patlite introduces LP6US LED Surface Mount Lights. Available in blue, red, yellow and clear, each light features six bright LEDs with 33 different flash patterns to suit various application needs. Durable construction enables it to be used in extreme temperatures ranging from -40° to 65°C (-40° to 149°F). Fluorescent Explosion Proof Emergency Light

The Larson Electronics HALP-EMG-48-2L-T5HO Class 1 Division 2 emergency fluorescent light is designed to provide operators with a failsafe lighting solution that can withstand the rigors of operation in locations where corrosion and wetness is an issue. This explosion proof emergency light looks and operates like a standard fluorescent fixture, but incorporates a corrosion resistant housing and emergency backup battery system that provides a failsafe lighting option and the ability to withstand the effects of a corrosive operating environment. The housing on this unit is constructed with a glass fiber reinforced polyester housing with poured in gasket for reliable sealing and an impact resistant acrylic diffuser cover for even light distribution and high durability. Stainless steel latches provided added protection against corrosion and secure the acrylic diffuser to the housing to prevent drips and water intrusion.

Light output is provided by a pair of T5HO fluorescent lamps which produce a combined total of 10,000 lumens of light output, making this unit ideal for illuminating larger areas such as work stations, walkways, storage areas, and anywhere large scale coverage is needed. These lamps offer excellent efficiency and high color quality for operations requiring accurate color distinction and have an operational life rated at 20,000 hours, making them a powerful yet economical lighting solution. The emergency backup system in these hazardous location lights consists of a special battery backup ballast system that automatically takes over operation in the event of power failures.

A built in charging system maintains the battery backup at full charge levels during normal operations, and when power is abnormally cut immediately takes over and runs the light at reduced output for up to 90 minutes. Once power is restored, the system automatically recharges the battery system and returns the unit to a ready state for the next event. During normal operation the fixture operates from standard 120-277 VAC current for easy and versatile connection to most universal voltages. The HALP-EMG-48-2L-T5HO is ideal for use in hazardous locations where corrosive and wet conditions are common and is well suited to installation on oil platforms, in marinas, chemical plants, water treatment plants, and petrochemical processing facilities where advanced explosion proof protection and failsafe operation is required.

Dimmable LED Power Supplies

Green Watt Power, a division of Calex Mfg. Co., Inc. announces the introduction of the GLCD 50 Watt constant current dimmable LED power supplies. The dimming options for the GLCD 50 include 0-10V, PWM and external potentiometer. All models feature a universal 100- 277VAC input with nominal output current values of 500mA, 700mA, 1.05A, 1.4A, 1.75A, 2.1A and 2.8A. The dimming range is 10 to 100%. All models are RoHS compliant, IP67 rated and backed by Green Watt Power’s Five Year Warranty. The power factor correction for all models is 0.95 and total harmonic noise is less than 20%. Rise time is 200ms and setup time is 2s. Overshoot and undershoot response is +/-10%. Ripple and noise is 5% of I out. Input to output withstand voltage is 3750 VAC. The MTBF per MIL-HDBK-217F is 200k hours. The operating temperature of the GLCD 50 is -35 to 70C ambient. Magnetic Mount Led Work Light

The Larson Electronics WAL-M-LED72-120 LED work light provides operators in demanding work environments with a powerful yet highly versatile lighting solution capable of filling a wide variety of applications with equal effectiveness. This LED work light features an extremely durable LED lamp mated to a three leg aluminum pedestal mount fitted with three magnetic pads. The LED lamp on this unit is a high output design that produces 4,320 lumens, over four times as much light output as a 100 watt incandescent lamp, while using only three quarters as many watts. This lamp runs far cooler as well, and is waterproof and highly resistant to the effects of impacts or dropping, making it ideal for high stress locations such as industrial work places. With this LED work light, there are no worries with accidental burns or bulb breakage or shattering should the lamp be dropped or knocked over.

As well as high power, this lamp also provides versatile operation as well. The heavy duty aluminum pedestal mount acts like any typical pedestal light. Workers can simply set the lamp down on a flat surface and power it on to provide instant and powerful illumination. However, three 200lbs grip magnetic pads mounted to each leg also allows operators to attach this light to metal surfaces such as tank ceilings or wall, effectively letting the light be used as an overhead or hands free area light in places where simply setting the light down is impractical. HELUKABEL expands its cleanroom approved power and data cable product portfolio with the launch of its CLEANFLEX® series. These UL/CSA-approved, shielded and unshielded power and data cables are suitable for use in continuous-flexing, cable track-equipped machinery built for cleanroom applications, such as semiconductor and electronics manufacturing. Cleanroom environments are a particularly challenging for manufacturers because even the smallest amount of contamination from particles, such as dust or microscopic materials coming from the machinery, can have damaging results on production. To prevent such particles from originating from the cable during continuous-flex operations, HELUKABEL® designed the CLEANFLEX® with a special polyurethane (PUR) outer jacket to minimize the release of cable dust into the air. The PUR jacket compound was rigorously tested and approved by the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Techniques and Automation after meeting their minimum particle emission into ambient air requirements.

CLEANFLEX® power and data cables are flame retardant and halogen free (LSZH), and resistant to oil, UV and chemicals, such as solvents, acids, alkalis and hydraulic fluids. They can withstand high levels of mechanical stresses and alternating bending cycles, and are tear, abrasion and impact resistant, even at cold temperatures. The CLEANFLEX® line is suitable for cleanroom environments at temperatures between -40°C and +80°C, application dependent. Both the power and data cables come in unshielded and shielded types to prevent signal interruption during cleanroom applications that expose the cables to high levels of electromagnetic interference. If radiation is present, CLEANFLEX® cables can withstand up to 100 Mrads of exposure.

The CLEANFLEX®-HF power cable is available in sizes from 20 – 14 AWG, while the shielded HF-C power cable comes in 20 – 16 AWG. The CLEANFLEX®-HF and twisted-pair, shielded HF-TP-C data cables are available in sizes ranging from 24 – 22 AWG. Each power and data cable comes in varying conductor configurations.
