About the Innovation Awards
New Equipment Digest's Innovation Awards is a celebration of the most innovative products and solutions within the manufacturing industry. The annual reader-choice program provides New Equipment Digest's audience with information about the top new products and solutions across 15 different categories, producing 1 winner in each category. 2024 will mark 8 years of the Innovation Awards program.
Generally, new product eligibility will follow a timeframe of September 1 of the previous year through December 31 of the current year.

- May 15, 2024: Submissions deadline.
- June 21, 2024: Nominees notified via email regarding status.
- July 1, 2024: Nominees announced and voting begins @ (link to come)
- August 1, 2024: Voting Closes
- September 15, 2024: Winners and finalists are notified via email regarding their status.
- December 10, 2024: Winners are announced in the November/December Innovation Awards issue.
- December 11, 2024: Winners are announced online @ (link to come)
How to Submit
All submissions are accepted via an online form here: https://manufacturing.endeavorb2b.com/ned-innovation-awards-cfa/. Applicants must create a login to enter the awards program.
All information requested must be provided. An incomplete form or a form providing misleading or false information will result in disqualification and applicants will be refunded. The submission process allows a user to submit multiple products easily by duplicating the form; there is no limit on how many products one user/company may submit. An authorized representative of the manufacturer must complete the submission form verifying all information. Submissions must be submitted on behalf of the original manufacturer.

If you're unsure of which category to submit into, pick the one you feel is correct. We will switch products into a different category if needed and you will be notified.
Eligibility Requirements
Products nominated for the 2024 NED Innovation Awards must meet the following criteria:
- Products must be available for purchase in the United States.
- Products must be launched/purchasable between September 1st, 2023, and December 31, 2024. Products launched before September 1, 2023, will not be accepted.
- If the submission is a new version of a previously available product, the submission must represent a major modification or substantial redesign of the product or software. New versions of software must offer significant enhancements and capabilities, changing the software exponentially. Please note that any redesigns or significant modifications occurring within the entry dates will be considered at the magazine's discretion.
- An employee or an authorized representative of the manufacturer that produces the product must submit the form.
- There is no limit to the number of products each company may enter.
- Products entered for the 2024 NED Innovation Awards cannot have been previously nominated in past years. New versions or enhancements of previously nominated products/software are also not eligible to be entered. - Entries that do not meet required guidelines or present false or misleading information will be disqualified, and entry fees refunded.
Selection Process
All product entries will be judged by NED’s audience of professional manufacturing industry experts including plant managers, engineers, and industrial buyers, selected by the NED editorial staff from a pool of the magazine’s readers.
NED subscribers will vote for their favorite product in each category through an online voting form on the NED website. Votes will determine the winners of the 2024 NED Innovation Awards. Voting will produce 15 winners, one in each category.
Voting requires you to be an NED subscriber (on the site) and every subscriber may only vote once.
Entry Fee
The submission fee for the 2024 NED Innovations Award program is as follows:
- 1 Product: $175
- 2 to 4 Products: $125 per product
- 5+ products: $100 per product
If payment is not received, entry will be void. Payment is due upon submission of the entry form.
Recognition
Finalists receive an official Finalist logo to use in marketing efforts promoting their status to customers. Finalists are listed in a special online gallery released in November 2024 along with a special product listing(s) on the NED Directory that notes their Finalist status.
Winners receive an official Category Winner logo to use in marketing efforts promoting their status to customers. Winners are listed in the November/December NED Innovations Award issue, in a special online gallery released in November 2024, along with a special product listing(s) on the NED Directory that notes their Winner status.
In the event of a tie, it is possible for more than one Winner to be awarded in a category.
All award recipients receive an official Finalist or Category Winner logo to use in marketing efforts promoting their status.
Voting
Voting takes place through an online form and is done by a pool of NED's subscribers: manufacturing professionals, industrial buyers, plant managers, and engineers. Readers are encouraged to vote in as many categories for which they are qualified based on technological advancement, service to the industry, and market impact.
Voting requires you to be an NED subscriber (on the site) and every subscriber may only vote once.
