The DustPruf® 5300 Series plastic chain conveyor now comes in a Z-frame configuration - giving customers added flexibility and more options for routing product through a facility or plant.

This new Z-frame configuration allows customers the option to move product up and over obstacles, maximizing valuable floor space. Having one conveyor line route product up and over obstacles lowers the overall operating cost due to using just one motor to drive an entire system; it also reduces potential product loss by eliminating transfer points between conveyors.

The DustPruf 5300 Series Z-frame conveyor allows customers to route product:

  • Up an incline or down a decline
  •  Horizontal to incline/decline
  •  Incline/decline to curve

Performance of the DustPruf 5300 Series Z-frame conveyor:

  • Widths between eight inches and two feet
  • Lengths up to 83 feet
  • Speeds up to 250 feet per minute
  • Load capacity up to 500 pounds
  •  Z-frame angles available from 5° - 60° in 5° increments
  • Delivery in less than 10 days from time of order

As implied by its name, the DustPruf 5300 Series Z-frame conveyor is essentially "dust proof," thanks to a streamlined frame design that virtually eliminates all catch points where particulates or debris can collect. A common source of dust comes from corrugate or through the packaging process. Also, many granular or fine particle products often become airborne only to fall back onto the conveyors during manufacturing.  Lastly, some environments simply need to be cleaner, such as medical and pharmaceutical production, and the DustPruf design delivers.

Since the conveyor frame is smooth with no slots, customers can use the patent-pending SmartSlotT system of self-tapping screws and a cordless drill to quickly attach any guiding and automation accessories necessary for their application. A small indentation on the conveyor's frame directs customers to the best place to install these additional components.

The DustPruf 5300 Series Z-frame conveyor is ideal in applications that have dust or debris in the environment or require an occasional wipe-down or spot cleaning.
