Up-Thrust Clamp
Supplier: Carr Lane Mfg Co
FEATURES: Combination clamp and locator with a unique upward clamping
action. Up-Thrust Clamps locate off of the part's top surface and clamp
up from below. Pushing down on the cam handle pulls the lower jaw
upward. This clamps the workpiece against the stationary upper jaw,
whose bottom surface is ground for precise location.
SIZES: Available in one size, with 1/2-13 mounting thread — see Dimensions page for part number.
ADJUSTMENT:
The lower jaw has two clamping surfaces 180° apart, one for thinner
parts, the other for thicker parts. After selecting the appropriate
clamping surface, move the lower jaw up or down into final position by
rotating the cam handle.
MATERIAL: Steel, wear surfaces hardened, black oxide finish.
