A tier 1 robotics integrator for a major car manufacture was given the task of designing a robotic work cell to fabricate car doors. The jig assembly holding the door weighed close to 5000 lbs and needed to be pushed into the robotic work cell. They chose a CartCaddy tug to help them eliminate a possible injury from manually pushing them into position. One operator now can easily and safely change out a finished car door.
