Transhield, Inc. shrink covers are now available for a wide range of industrial applications including metals, machinery, large parts and vehicles. Transhield custom-fit covers are made from Shrinkable Fabric™ and feature non-abrasive cloth-like lining to protect finishes from damage. The breathable exterior fabric is water proof and reduces condensation. Transhield industrial application covers feature the patented Adhesive Additive Delivery – Vapor Corrosion Inhibitor (AAD-VCI) system which provides 100% protection from corrosion during transportation and storage. The cover material is breathable and the special coating significantly reduces moisture and eliminates hardware corrosion while covered. The shrink covers are easy to apply and remove and custom-fit covers with zippers, Velcro or other components make use simple. Heat shrinking the covers provides a tight fit so that the cover will stay on during transportation or storage. Transhield shrink covers reflect 85% of sunlight and feature a vapor transmission rate of 1.3 grams/100 sq. in./24 hours during rain.
