AmeriPride announces Bulwark® Excel FR® ComforTouch® Premium Coveralls, one of many recent flame-resistant (FR) apparel offerings now available through AmeriPride’s partnership with Bulwark Protective Apparel. FR garments are intended to resist ignition and prevent the spread of flames in designated areas where intermittent exposure to flame or heat is possible. With an arc rating (ATPV) of 8.6 calories/cm², Excel FR® ComforTouch® Premium Coveralls meet NFPA 70E standards for hazard/risk category (HRC) 2 applications. The coveralls additionally deliver increased abrasion resistance and superior performance in a comfortable, ultra-wearable design.
Excel FR® ComforTouch® Premium Coveralls are made with lightweight 7 oz. EXCEL FR® ComforTouch® fabric, comprised of 88% cotton and 12% nylon. EXCEL FR® ComforTouch® delivers superior dry heat resistance and acts as a natural insulator, offering unbeatable protection for foundries, flame cutting and welding, as well as electrical utilities and the chemical, oil, gas and petrochemical industries.
