Heinrich Company announces its No. 1 Portable Shear that can be easily mounted in a vise. This allows you to move it to other workstations or jobsites. A special latch is hinged to allow vise mounting or bench mounting. The unit’s shear capacity is 1/8” mild steel; its rod-cutting capacity is 5/16” mild steel. The 24” handle mechanism is designed to work in a compound fashion, providing easy cutting action. The offset frame is constructed to permit shearing of wide sheets, straight cuts, or outside curves. Blades are made of tool steel and are easily removed for sharpening. Portable unit weighs only 17 pounds.
