Polypropylene Braided PTFE Hose Resists Attack
Supplier: Parker / Parflex Div
Polypropylene Braided PTFE Hose assemblies from Parker Hannifin, PAGE International Hose, are 20% lighter than traditional Stainless Steel braided hoses and are much more flexible, making it easier to route through tight spaces. In addition, these hoses will not conduct electricity and can handle many of the chemicals that attack stainless steel.
Since Polypropylene braid is a plastic, rather than a metal, the burn risk for operators working around this product is much lower.
Polypropylene braid is typically supplied in a light blue braid and is available in convoluted assemblies in either natural or static-dissipative tubes. Sizes range from ¼” up to 4” O.D and hoses operate in temperatures up to 212°F/100°C.
