Oriental Motor USA Corp. introduces the new BLU speed control package composed of a brushless dc motor and a cased driver with power supply. The motor can be connected easily by plugging the motor connector into the driver. The motor speed can be directly set using the potentiometer control knob located on the front panel. The power supply line up is available in 115 vac single phase, 230 vac single phase, and 230 vac three phase.

The RoHS compliant BLU series consists of three models ranging from 20 watts (60mm), 40 watts (80mm) and up to 90 watts (90mm) output power. The BLU possesses speed regulation accuracy of + 0.5%. The BLU brushless DC motor can be operated at precise speeds from 100 rpm up to 2000 rpm. The motor meets IP65 environmental conditions.

There are two gearhead types available, the parallel shaft gearhead and the hollow shaft flat gearhead, with a wide variety of gear ratios. The space saving pre-assembled hollow shaft flat gearhead has a higher permissible torque at higher gear ratios. The 20 watt, 40 watt, and 90 watt parallel shaft gearhead motor packages are supplied in a pre-assembled motor gearhead package.

Motor only round shaft types are available in all three models while the pinion shaft types are available with separate associated gearheads. Extension cables are also available for all models as an option.
