Nycoa 2245 is a highly flexible nylon TPE suitable for extruded profiles including specialty monofilament, tubing, film and sheet. Nycoa 2245 can also be injection molded. The chemical composition imparts a unique balance of properties while retaining the characteristic properties of nylon. It delivers improved impact performance at ambient or low temperatures, and increased flexibility to meet higher impact performance. The chemistry of the resin promotes good adhesion to olefins and other materials, without the problem of migration associated with the use of plasticizers. Nycoa 2245 is a cost effective replacement for PEBAX. This product is available with custom additive packages: heat stabilizer, UV stabilizer, flame retardant and custom colors.
