The new DRI TOUCH® Non-VOC is a high grade corrosion preventative that contains no VOC’s (volatile organic compounds) and forms a colorless, dry-to-touch protective film suitable for all metal surfaces. With a 248° F flash point, the DRI TOUCH Non-VOC is effective in manufacturing plants that are under air quality restrictions or in areas with flammability hazards, such as the heat-treat department, or areas with gas-fired space heating, etc. It can be used without causing air contamination or fire safety problems.
            DRI TOUCH Non-VOC can be applied to wet or dry surfaces by immersion or pump spray techniques.  Excellent as a corrosion preventive over black oxide or phosphate conversion coatings because it seals out corrosion and enhances depth of color. It can also be used on uncoated metal surfaces for long-term storage. The non-conductive DRI TOUCH film dries and lubricates components without interfering with proper operation. Also important, it is compatible with most lubricants, hydraulic oil and cutting oil.
            DRI TOUCH Non-VOC liquid has a very thin consistency – similar to penetrating oil – that quickly penetrates recessed areas and lifts moisture from blind holes. Just as quickly, it forms a protective barrier film that resists harmful atmospheric humidity and corrosion. DRI TOUCH Non-VOC offers protection levels that are double or triple the levels produced by most other water-based products that might be used in these fire prone areas.
            Rated for 100-150 hours salt spray and 600+ hours humidity protection, DRI TOUCH Non-VOC meets water displacement test Mil-C-16173 and stain test Mil-C-22235A. It has a pale, amber liquid appearance with a film thickness of 0.15 mil and provides effective coverage of approximately 1500 square feet per gallon.
