Clear Coat3 Rust Preventive Spray uses three strategies to protect tool and mold finishes during shutdowns and storage. It forms a barrier against moisture - like the well-known formula it replaces - but now it also displaces moisture and chemically prevents rust. Clear Coat3 is ideal for overnight use because it can usually be removed by startup shots without wiping or solvents - saving time and money. Lab tests to ASTM-D1748 specifications have also proven the spray can be used for storage durations of at least 4 months. Because of its "dry" formula, Clear Coat3 will not run and bleed out of pins or bushings, so contamination of plastic parts is avoided. This low-cost rust preventive spray has low odor and contains no TCE or chlorinated solvents. It maintains a soft and buttery texture and will not become waxy like other sprays.
