This trailer was designed and built for a large defense contractor on the east coast. This all steel reversible four-wheel steer trailer provides 30-ton capacity with an incredible low deck height of only 29 1/2". Plate deck welded over structural tube frame has been built to withstand the toughest industrial applications. The trailer is 192" long x 96" wide with the low deck height of 29.5". The loop towing tongue is removable allowing the flexibility for towing from either end eliminating the need for a space eating turnaround area. Fifth wheels at each end are connected by a structural tube tie rod that allows the trailer to maneuver in tighter spaces and negotiate turns a fifth wheel steer trailer could not manage. Twelve 15" diameter x 9" wide Press-on Polyurethane wheels with 2" tapered roller bearings spread the load over a larger area to save the floor from excessive load. Finally, tie down rings around the perimeter help secure the load for safe travel throughout the plant.
