A highly flexible, wire-reinforced polyurethane hose that is now offered
in inch and metric sizes for light bulk material transfer and fume removal applications has been introduced by Flexaust of Warsaw, Indiana.

Flexaust Flx-Thane® MD Polyurethane Hose is up to six times more puncture, tear, and abrasion resistant than EPDM and neoprene hose, claims the firm.  Suitable for light bulk material transfer and fume evacuation applications, this rugged hose features a smooth interior, 4:1 compressibility, resists most chemicals, and remains flexible at temperatures from -65°F to 225°F.

Available in 2” to 24” and 60 mm to 300 mm I.D. sizes, Flexaust Flx-Thane® MD Polyurethane Hose has a .030” thick wall and comes in FDA-acceptable clear and black colors.  Supplied in standard 25’ and 50’ lengths, factory installed 2” soft cuffs are optional.  Other hoses are offered with wall thicknesses from .020” to .080”.
