Custom engineered, tri-metallic clad wire that can combine a variety of specific properties which cannot be met by a single alloy is now available. Anomet Tri-Metal Clad Wire features three materials, each metallurgically bonded together to achieve combined properties such as high conductivity, high strength, and biocompatibility or radiopacity.  Suitable for fabri-cating connectors, micro-switches, and implantable medical devices, this tri-metal clad wire can incorporate properties not available in one alloy.

Available in sizes from 0.002” to 0.125” O.D., Anomet Tri-Metal Clad Wire
can incorporate 2% or more cladding thickness, depending upon the desired properties.  Core and second layer materials can include copper, stainless steel, Kovar®, niobium, Nitinol®, nickel-iron, molybdenum, tantalum, and titanium with a gold, silver, palladium, or platinum exterior layer.

Anomet Tri-Metal Clad Wire is priced according to metal combinations. 
Bi-Metal clad wire is also offered.  Price quotations and samples are available upon request.
