To meet all your framing needs, 80/20® offers aluminum T-slotted framing systems in both fractional and metric sizes, with a total of 66 different profiles. These T-slotted profiles consist of seven families, including two fractional sizes, 10 Series (1" increments) and 15 Series (1.5" increments), and five metric sizes: 20 Series (20mm increments), 25 Series (25mm increments), 30 Series (30mm increments), 40 Series (40mm increments) and 45 Series (45mm increments). Metric 25 Series and 40 Series profiles feature a smooth surface and the ability to use either fractional or metric hardware. Aluminum framing systems are very cost effective when compared to welded steel structures. Typical industry applications include machine frames, office furniture, clean rooms, machine guards and enclosures, motion picture fixtures and lighting, material handling equipment, and prototype equipment. All of these structures can be assembled using simple hand tools.
