Two-part, all steel construction D-locknut locks in any position on the bolt or threaded shaft regardless of clamping force. Can be applied for gaskets installation or similar torque sensitive applications. The design, featuring patented asymmetric thread, clamps the locknut without damaging bolt threads. No special installation tools needed. Turns free to mount or remove. It is heat resistant and reusable.
