Utilizing a formula with PTFE, Gasoila Soft-Set Thread Sealant is an easy-to-use, soft-setting paste for general industrial and fueling applications. Gasoila Chemicals is a specialty chemical division of Federal Process Corporation.
Available through leading distributors domestically and internationally, Gasoila Soft-Set Thread Sealant provides a durable, positive seal in a wide range of applications, including pipe threads, joints, fittings, hoses, nozzles, bolts, compressors, housings, plugs, couplings and more.
The formula is excellent for use in and around LPG cylinders, pump assemblies, oil burners, hydraulics, fuel lines, engine, water piping and other areas.
Gasoila Soft-Set Thread Sealant remains pliable in cold temperatures and is effective from -100 F to 600 F (-74 C to 318 C). It seals liquids up to 10,000 PSI and gases up to 3,000 PSI.
The non-setting sealant is safe for use on brass, copper, tin, stainless and galvanized steel, aluminum black pipe, nylon, as well as most plastics. Ideal for fueling applications, the sealant is highly resistant to gasoline, petroleum-based solvents, kerosene, diesel oil, propane, butane, LPG, cutting oils, ammonia, aliphatic solvents, acids and others.

Available in 1/8-ounce and 2-ounce tubes, ¼-, ½- and one pint brush top cans, as well as quart and gallon cans, the thread sealant is approved by CSA® and NSF® and classified by UL®.
