iKey continues its spirit of innovation for industrial keyboard design with the new SL-91 model. Designed to accommodate rugged applications in manufacturing, material handling and remote data entry, the SL-91 features epoxy-coated keycaps and a plastic face guard that provide additional layers of protection to the rubber overlay. “This product was designed for customers who want a backlit QWERTY keyboard with a 10-key number pad in a compact housing,” said Joel East, Director of Business Development and Technical Design for iKey. “It’s ideal for material handling applications and mounts easily to forklifts or other workstations.” The SL-91 is constructed with a robust polycarbonate case. It measures 11.25” in width, 6.25” in height and 1.8” in depth. Backlit keys allow for easy use in low-light environments. “The unique layout of the SL-91 is user-friendly for applications requiring gloves,” East said. “The spacing between each key makes it easy for material handlers wearing gloves to make entries without hitting multiple keys at the same time.”
