Balmac’s  Model 240 V-Alert Vibration Meter takes the guesswork out of deciding whether fan vibration is acceptable or excessive before making an expensive call for service.
        Even an operator with limited vibration experience can use the V-Alert because a green LED will illuminate when vibration levels are acceptable or a red LED will alert the operator to higher than acceptable vibration levels.
        The V-Alert uses an industry standard 0.2 ips RMS limit for acceptable vibration.  The V-Alert provides large, digital readings for easy recording, and it automatically holds a displayed reading for up to 30 seconds. The V-Alert is battery-operated with an automatic shut-off to maximize battery life.
