Gems® Sensors & Controls™ introduces the new miniature, low cost 950 Electro Optic Level Sensor  (ELS) for a wide range of applications and industries.

The ELS-950 was developed to perform in harsh environments with features such as an over-molded electronics insert, TPE insulated wires, and fluorosilicone O-ring seals that create a watertight, environmentally resistant assembly.  Housing options include Polysulfone or Polyethersulfone providing compatibility with a broad range of media.

“Built on the proven technology of the 900 series, the 950 is the next generation in this line,” says Kevin Castonguay, Product Marketing Manager for Gems Sensors and Controls.  “It delivers the best price to performance for OEMs demanding a small, solid state sensor that is durable enough to handle almost any application or temperature.”  

The compact size, durability, and low cost of the sensor creates an excellent option for applications such as: OHV, Medical diagnostic, sterilizer, and dialysis equipment; low lubricant warning on machine tools, and generator sets; construction, agricultural, and material handling equipment; coolant reservoir monitoring/warning; and OEM food and beverage applications.
