Hardigg Cases:
VersaFill™ Material Totes
Friday, January 04, 2008

Hardigg Cases, the company that revolutionized the
packaging and transport container industry, has introduced new VersaFill
Material Totes. These sturdy containers are designed for the storing and
transport of items such as plastic pellets and other bulk components. Ideal
for warehouse and manufacturing floors, the VersaFill Totes can be easily
moved with pallet jacks and forklifts and, with lids in place, stacked
securely and efficiently. VersaFill containers are built to survive years of
heavy use and can withstand impacts, drops and rough encounters with
forklifts and other factory machinery.
Hardigg is widely recognized for creating rugged, military-grade cases for
everything from weapons to sensitive electronic equipment, and originally
developed VersaFill for use in its own South Deerfield, MA manufacturing
facility. "We are used to solving our own problems, and the storage and
transport of bulk materials was something we had to do every day on the
manufacturing floor," said Matt Howell, Hardigg Cases' Product Manager,
Industrial Markets. "We created a container that would meet our
specifications, and immediately realized that it would be useful for our
customers as well."
VersaFill Material Totes are 45"x45" and 44" deep, and available in 14
colors. The containers are available with an optional liner that provides a
smooth interior surface for easy removal of fine-grained items. VersaFill
Material Totes comply with FDA regulation 21 CFR 177.1520, paragraphs ( c
)3.1a and ( c )3.2a, and may be used in contact with food.
